In the summer of 1976 the skateboard craze swept through Britain and during the next year or so skateparks were hurriedly built all over the UK only to find that by late 1978 most kids had found other things to do. As fast as the parks had been thrown up they were torn down. One of the few parks to remain was in North West London, it brought together a diverse group of skaters from various parts of the capital all looking to continue the fun and excitement of skateboarding on vertical and banked terrain. The park was Harrow, the skaters came to be known as the H-Boyz. To this day Harrow is still a thriving and influential skatepark, it has seen many skaters come through and inherit the unique blend of attitude, fun, originality and friendship that has always set them apart.
